The NCAA Director Special Duties, Dr Augustina Erah (Ph.D.), has formally assumed office at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority following an approved redeployment. The minor reshuffle was endorsed by Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN). Her appointment marks a leadership transition within a strategic arm of the Authority.
The new NCAA Director Special Duties succeeds Mr Horatius Egua, the pioneer head of the Directorate of Special Duties. During the handover ceremony, Mr Egua provided a detailed operational briefing. He outlined the directorate’s structure, core responsibilities, and ongoing assignments to ensure continuity.
In his welcome address, Director General Civil Aviation, Captain Chris Najomo, commended the outgoing director for laying a solid foundation. Director of Consumer Protection and Public Affairs, Mr Michael Achimugu, read the citation of Dr Erah during the ceremony.
