The Executive Director, Operations and Technical Services, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, will chair the second JustNet Transport Summit scheduled for October 23, 2026, in Lagos. The summit will bring together industry leaders to examine strategies for strengthening Nigeria’s transport and logistics sector amid global disruptions.
Former Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Dr Richard Aisuebeogun, will deliver the keynote address. Chief Executive Officer of CITA Energies, Dr Thomas Ogungbangbe, and University of Lagos Senior Lecturer, Dr Femi Aiyegbajeje, will also contribute to the discussions.
Tantita Security to Bring Infrastructure Protection Perspective
Organised by JustAlive Communications Limited, publishers of JustNet News, the one-day summit will hold at Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos. Its theme is “Navigating Global Disruptions and the Road Ahead: Mobility, Energy and Trade Facilitation for a Resilient Future.”
The appointment places Tantita Security’s operational experience within wider discussions about national infrastructure, energy supply chains and transportation resilience. Capt. Enisuoh, popularly known as the “Double Captain” for his experience in maritime and aviation sectors, is expected to contribute a security-focused perspective.
His responsibilities at Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited include operations within a company known for pipeline surveillance and security. His participation is expected to highlight the importance of protecting strategic assets, safeguarding energy infrastructure and supporting uninterrupted movement of people and goods.
These issues are increasingly relevant as disruptions to energy supply chains and critical infrastructure affect transportation, trade and economic activities. Consequently, discussions will examine how stronger infrastructure protection can support a more resilient transport ecosystem.
Aisuebeogun, Ogungbangbe to Examine Sector Challenges
Dr Aisuebeogun is expected to examine challenges confronting Nigeria’s transport sector and outline possible responses to global disruptions. His keynote address will address infrastructure, institutional governance, operational efficiency and aviation’s role in facilitating trade and economic development.
Meanwhile, Dr Ogungbangbe will provide an energy-sector perspective, focusing on oil-market disruptions, energy supply challenges and infrastructure investment. His contribution will explore the relationship between reliable energy supplies and the operational sustainability of transport systems.
Reliable and affordable energy remains essential for passenger movement, cargo operations and infrastructure development. Therefore, discussions around energy security will be important to efforts to improve transport efficiency and competitiveness.
Dr Aiyegbajeje, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Lagos, will bring an academic and technical perspective. His contribution is expected to address mobility systems, transport planning and integrated transportation networks, including effective rail connectivity.
His participation will complement industry perspectives by highlighting the need for better coordination among Nigeria’s different transport modes.
JustNet Summit Targets Practical Solutions
Managing Director of JustAlive Communications Limited, Mrs Pearl Ngwama, said the summit was conceived as a platform for industry players, policymakers and stakeholders to examine emerging challenges and develop practical solutions.
According to Ngwama, the discussions will address mobility, infrastructure development, energy security and trade facilitation. They will also consider how international economic developments affect Nigeria’s transportation system.
She said the objective was to generate actionable recommendations supporting a more efficient, sustainable and future-ready transport sector.
The summit will bring together policymakers, regulators, transport operators, infrastructure developers, energy professionals, academics and other stakeholders. Participants will represent aviation, maritime, road, rail, inland waterways, energy and logistics.
For Nigeria, the challenge extends beyond providing infrastructure. The country must also improve integration among transport modes, protect strategic assets, secure reliable energy supplies and facilitate efficient cargo movement.
Stronger institutional coordination, technological innovation and sustainable investment could help reduce the sector’s vulnerability to domestic and international disruptions. These measures are also important for improving service delivery and encouraging private-sector participation.
Second Edition Builds on 2025 Summit
The organisers said the second JustNet Transport Summit builds on the maiden edition held in 2025. The earlier event provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss critical issues affecting Nigeria’s transportation industry.
The 2026 edition will expand engagement around emerging trends, regulatory challenges, investment opportunities and strategies for strengthening transportation’s contribution to economic growth.
