RUNWAY Aviation Club Ghana has announced the appointments of Major Glenn Eric Cuff as Chairman and William Amamoo as Director of Finance.
Major Cuff has been a longtime supporter of volunteer activities, having been Communications Officer of the Civil Air Patrol, Pennsylvania Wing, U.S. Air Force Auxiliary.
William Amamoo is a 22 years old final year Economics Major student at the University of Ghana.
RAC founder Okyere Obed said at the announcement,“I am delighted to welcome both gentlemen onboard RAC Ghana as they bring with them a wealth of organizational skills and drive that will assist us in reaching our goalsâ€
Honorary President Joe McDermott warmly welcomed both new appointments adding that “they will strengthen the RAC executive team thereby helping the organization move forward with it plansâ€.
Runway Aviation Club – Ghana was born in 2014 from an idea by Okyere Gyamena Obed who wanted to create a gateway for young Ghanaians into the aviation industry, to provide a platform for its members which would assist them find a career in aviation, to educate the members on available routes into the industry, to encourage the members to self-educate where possible and to approach the Ghanaian aviation industry to investigate future opportunities for members to start careers across all sectors of the industry, including the airlines, business aviation, trip support, ground operations, ATC, regulation, MRO, aircraft finance and leasing.
