Africa World Airlines (AWA) marked its ten-year milestone on the Lagos-Accra route, rewarding loyal customers with free tickets at a reception held at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.
High-profile guests and industry personalities attended, celebrating AWA’s achievements and contributions over the past decade.
Welcoming attendees, Mr. Jonathan Appiah, Head of Commercial, expressed joy and pride, emphasizing the remarkable journey and encouraging anticipation for a promising future.
Highlighting future plans, Mr. Appiah outlined the introduction of E-190s, expanding the fleet and network with exciting destinations like Monrovia, Freetown, Banjul, Dakar, Sao Tome, Port Harcourt, and Abidjan.
Country Manager, Mr. Kingsley Chima, thanked supporters for AWA’s achievement, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to maintaining its renowned standards.
He thanked Mrs. Gloria Atumu of APG, the airline’s GSA, Mr. Adeniyi Adigun, Director Sales of Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO Plc) among several others.
