Egyptair Enhances Nigerian Market Presence with Elite Tours Partnership, Kano Office Opening

In a strategic move, Egyptair has enlisted Elite Tours as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Nigeria. This collaboration aims to bolster sales and marketing efforts in the Nigerian market.

Partnering with Elite Tours, a reputable GSA firm, and its parent company, Master Travels, Egyptair solidifies its commitment to effective airline sales and marketing in Nigeria.

Simultaneously, Egyptair inaugurated a new office in Kano on December 4, 2023, as part of its revamped marketing strategy to provide superior services and connect with customers more effectively.

Distinguished personalities, including Mr. Khalil A. Muselmani and Mr. Ahmed Dauda Bagari, graced the opening ceremony, emphasizing the significance of Egyptair’s expanded presence.

Managing Director of Elite Tours, Mr. Mohamed Said, highlighted the company’s rich history and status as a leading tour operator in Cairo, reinforcing its capability as a GSA.

Mr. Muharram Abdelrahman, General Manager of the GSA in Nigeria, emphasized this milestone for Egyptair, citing enhanced coordination with local partners and an improved focus on cargo business to meet high demand.

Mr. Mohamed Farahat, General Manager of Investment, discussed the financial investment to enhance Egyptair’s services and products, emphasizing the role of a GSA in achieving efficiency.

Egyptair Country Manager, Mr. Amr Basha, shared insights into the decision to operate through a GSA, pointing out plans for expanding to new destinations and concentrating on tourism initiatives.

Mr. Basha emphasized the collaboration’s benefits, stating that working with Elite Tours, a top tour operator, enhances EGYPTAIR’s ability to organize diverse travel packages.

Despite challenges such as blocked funds, affecting many airlines in Nigeria, Mr. Basha reaffirmed EGYPTAIR’s commitment to serving the Nigerian market, maintaining a positive relationship with the government and customers.
