Aviation Careers Conference Targets Industry Opportunities
The 8th Aviation Careers Conference will focus on the theme, “Navigating the Future: Building Careers in a Dynamic Industry.” The programme will explore the opportunities and professional competencies needed to succeed in an increasingly demanding aviation environment.
Director-General of the NCAA, Capt. Chris Najomo, will deliver the keynote address. His participation will bring a regulatory perspective to discussions about aviation careers, professional development and the industry’s changing requirements.
Other speakers include President of the Aviation Round Table, Air Commodore Ademola Onitiju (rtd); Chief Commercial Officer of United Nigeria Airlines, Adedayo Olawuyi; and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Airfirst Nigeria Limited, Engr. Gbolahan Abatan.

Their professional backgrounds cover airline operations, aviation services, industry advocacy and flight operations, offering participants perspectives on different career pathways.
The conference’s theme highlights the importance of preparing professionals for a changing industry. Technical competence, practical experience and continuous learning remain important considerations for individuals seeking to build sustainable aviation careers.
Cabin Crew Fair Highlights Safety and Professionalism
Meanwhile, the 9th Cabin Crew Fair 2026 will address the theme, “Redefining Cabin Crew Excellence: Safety, Professionalism and Career Growth in a Changing Aviation Industry.” The programme will focus on the professional standards and competencies expected of cabin crew members.
President and Chief Executive Officer of Aerokeys Nigeria Limited, Kudla Satumari Haske, will deliver the keynote address. Other speakers include Director of Operations, Licensing and Training, Capt. Aviation professional, analyst and General Secretary of the Aviation Round Table, Olumide Ohunayo, will also participate as a special guest speaker. Their contributions will bring together perspectives on aviation operations, professional development, public safety and industry expectations.
Cabin crew members play essential roles in passenger safety, emergency response and the overall passenger experience. Therefore, professional excellence requires appropriate training, operational discipline and continued development throughout their careers.
The fair’s theme places these responsibilities alongside opportunities for advancement. It also reinforces the importance of professional standards as the aviation industry adapts to changing operational and workforce demands.
Aviation Hub Brings Two Career Platforms Together
By scheduling both programmes on the same day, Aviation Hub Limited is creating a platform that addresses different professional interests within the aviation industry. The morning conference will examine broader career opportunities, while the afternoon fair will concentrate on cabin crew development.
Together, the events will expose participants to professionals working across regulatory, commercial, operational and aviation service roles. They will also provide aspiring aviators with opportunities to gain insights into industry expectations and potential career pathways.
Both events will hold on Friday, October 23, 2026, at the NCAA premises in Ikeja, Lagos. Interested participants can register free of charge through Aviation Hub Limited’s website, https://aviationhublimited.com/aviation-career-conference.
The initiative seeks to strengthen career awareness, encourage professional engagement and promote the skills required to navigate Nigeria’s evolving aviation industry.
