Dana Air staff payment concerns are addressed in a letter from the CEO, promising the start of payments today amidst disengagement disputes. However, aggrieved staff plan a rally for unresolved issues tomorrow.

Staff express frustration over delayed salaries and seek one month’s salary in lieu of notice. Furthermore, they also demanded evidence of pension and tax deductions, along with clear timelines for final entitlement settlements.

Dana Air responds, citing April payments and openness to further negotiations. The CEO’s letter acknowledges challenges and commits to resolving issues, including initiating payments and ensuring satisfactory exit processes.

The CEO assures, “Regarding the last month’s salaries, we are committed to starting payments tomorrow (today) and aim to conclude this process by the end of the month. We are also focused on settling full and final payments, including statutory, from June with proper documentations as requested. In a few days, we will send each of you an email/letter for details to conclude this process. We will also hold individual exit interviews to ensure you are satisfied with the workings.”

Explanation of Disengagement Decision

The letter explains disengagement as a condition from the new investor, with plans for potential rehiring. Moreover, he noted ongoing efforts to resolve audit findings and reopen operations within a 90-day window available.

Appeal for Patience Amidst Challenges

The CEO appeals for patience, acknowledging staff’s right to protest while urging understanding during these challenging times as they work to onboard a new investor. The former workers say, in all this Dana Air staff payment is paramount.

  1. We expat pilots have not received our ticket home, plus the salary for April and the month in lieu.
We are still waiting, in the facility with a lot of stress and no news from the company, only that they are going to pay, but nothing yet, only promises.
