Global business aviation services provider ACASS has expanded its presence in Africa with the addition of two Kenya-based aircraft, a Boeing Business Jet 2 (BBJ2) and an Embraer Legacy 650, to its managed fleet.

The company announced that both aircraft are registered under the San Marino (T7) registry and are expected to become available for international charter operations in the near future.

The latest fleet additions further reinforce ACASS’s growing footprint on the African continent, where demand for long-range business aviation services continues to rise among corporate operators, governments, high-net-worth individuals, and international organisations.

According to ACASS, the BBJ2 offers extended intercontinental range and a spacious cabin configuration suitable for executive travel, diplomatic missions, and large-group transport. The Legacy 650, meanwhile, provides long-range capability with a reputation for operational reliability and passenger comfort.

Chief Executive Officer of ACASS, Andre Khury, said the aircraft additions reflect continued market demand across Africa and align with the company’s strategy of expanding aircraft management and charter services in the region.

“These additions reflect both the continued demand we are seeing in Africa and our commitment to providing flexible, high-quality aircraft management and charter solutions in the region,” Khury said.

With decades of operational experience in Africa, ACASS has established itself as a major player in aircraft management, offering services that range from flight operations oversight and maintenance coordination to crew staffing, charter management, regulatory support, and aircraft acquisitions.

Industry observers note that professional aircraft management services are becoming increasingly important in Africa’s business aviation sector as operators seek greater efficiency, compliance, and cost optimisation while navigating diverse regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions.

The addition of the BBJ2 and Legacy 650 is expected to strengthen ACASS’s ability to serve customers requiring long-range travel solutions within Africa and between the continent and international destinations.

Both aircraft will be operated under ACASS management programmes, which the company says are designed to maintain high standards of safety, operational performance, and service delivery.

ACASS Deepens African Presence

The expansion comes as Africa’s business aviation market continues to evolve, driven by growing cross-border trade, investment activity, and increasing demand for flexible air transport solutions. For ACASS, the latest fleet additions represent another step in consolidating its position within a region that remains strategically important to its global operations.

Founded in 1994, ACASS provides aircraft management, charter, sales and acquisitions, crew staffing, and technical support services to aircraft owners and operators worldwide. The company currently operates across multiple international jurisdictions and maintains a significant presence in Africa through its aircraft management and charter activities.
