The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and Aviators Africa are strengthening their partnership to enhance capacity building and boost regulatory efficiency across Nigeria’s aviation sector.
During a courtesy visit to the Director General of NCAA, Captain Chris Najomo, in Abuja, Chief Executive Officer of Aviators Africa, Toni Ukachukwu, emphasized the organization’s unwavering commitment to developing aviation professionals through strategic training initiatives.
Ukachukwu said the collaboration between Aviators Africa and the NCAA underscores their shared vision of advancing aviation safety, security, and regulatory excellence within Nigeria and across the African continent.
According to him, NCAA staff across several directorates are already benefiting from tailored capacity building programmes designed to improve technical and non-technical competencies in aviation oversight, management, and compliance.
He commended the leadership of Captain Najomo, noting that under his direction, the NCAA has demonstrated strong commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and international best practices in aviation regulation.
Ukachukwu added that discussions during the meeting focused on expanding existing training frameworks to include specialized courses and mentorship schemes aimed at enhancing operational performance and institutional knowledge.
