Nuhu Adam has been named Superba Consulting Senior Advisor for Aircraft Acquisition, Sales, and Management in the African region.
This move aligns with the federal government’s push for private sector participation in aviation as Italy-based firm, Superba Consulting has launched operations in Nigeria.
The company said Adam will play a crucial role in strengthening cross-continental partnerships, describing him as a bridge between Africa and Europe in the world of aviation and strategic infrastructure.
His appointment signals Superba Consulting’s commitment to expanding its footprint across Africa.
With more than two decades of experience, Adam brings deep expertise in aviation, logistics, and public affairs. He has also played a key role in diplomacy between African and European institutions. His career path highlights his ability to navigate complex environments while delivering results.
Adam has previously worked with several top institutions, including Intel Nigeria Ltd, Virgin Nigeria Airways, Travelinn Ltd, and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). At FAAN, he managed regional projects funded by the World Bank, showcasing his ability to deliver high-impact results in large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
In 2025, Adam officially joined Superba Consulting as Senior Advisor for Africa. His long-standing collaboration with the company’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Gianni Riccardi, dates back years.
Together, they have led projects in the offshore oil and gas industry, aviation advisory, and infrastructure development.
Notably, their combined expertise supported critical projects in Nigeria, Angola, and Mozambique.
Among their achievements was advisory support for oil platform logistics, private jet acquisition and management, and the development of helipads and private airports. In Mozambique, their efforts contributed to the advancement of one of the country’s most important natural gas fields.
Speaking about the appointment, Superba Consulting highlighted Adam’s leadership qualities, adaptability, and strategic insight.
The company noted that his track record demonstrates an ability to align business goals with market realities across Africa’s diverse aviation and energy sectors.
Adam holds degrees in Sociology from the University of Ilorin and the University of Lagos, alongside professional certification from the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
His academic and professional achievements complement his hands-on experience, making him a versatile leader for the company’s African operations.
Industry observers believe the appointment will further strengthen Nigeria’s role as a hub for aviation business and consulting in Africa.
