FOLLOWING the reshuffling that took place last week at the Nigerian Immigration Service ( NIS), Comptroller Dahiru Mani Bagiwa pcc has officially taken over as the Comptroller Immigration Service ( NIS) in charge of Lagos State Command.
His appointment follows the redeployment of Comptroller BA Aliyu fsi pcc+ who has been appointed as the Principal Staff Officer (PSO- CGIS) in the recent redeployment of Comptrollers carried out by the Service.
In a statement signed by CSI Akinpelu Olajide Ogungbe Public Relations Officer/Protocol Officer, CIS Bagiwa who hails from Mani Local Government Area in Katsina State was until his appointment, the Comptroller in charge of Kaduna State Command.
CIS Bagiwa has served in various capacities in several Commands and Formations across the Country.
He has also previously served with the National Commission for Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North-East region.
Comptroller Bagiwa, will be coming in with a wealth of experience as a seasoned administrator after having undergone several administrative courses within and outside the Service.
He has a first degree in Political Science from the elite Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He subsequently followed up with a Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Bayero University Kano (BUK).
He is once again returning to Lagos after having previously served at the Command and MMIA.
