NIGERIAN Aviation Handling Company Plc, has broken ground on its Export Processing Centre in Lagos, the first of five such centers spread across the country, as more will spring up in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Kano which will aid in boosting the country’s exportation policy thrust.
The handling company while performing the groundbreaking ceremony for the Lagos phase of the NAHCO Export Processing Centre ( NEPC) in partnership with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council hinted that this will help standardise exports from the country.
The Executive Director, /Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Dr. Ezra Yakusak, in unveiling the groundbreaking plaque, praised NAHCO Plc for walking the talk, assuring all present of NEPCĆ¢ā¬ā¢s support towards a successful completion of the project
Chairman of NAHCO Plc, Dr Seinde Fadeni, in his opening remarks, announced that the project in Lagos, is the first of five such centers spread across the country, in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Kano.
Fadeni said the center will boost the countryĆ¢ā¬ā¢s export drive and standardize our export processing system.
NAHCO was chosen by the Federal Government, through the NEPC and granted 1Billion naira to build and operate export processing zones across the country.
