IBOM Air today apologized to its customers on the Lagos –Abuja route for a long delay which it explained was due to an unscheduled maintenance and has promised to make it up to passengers with a complimentary one way ticket.
The airline in its apology promised that it would operate all it Lagos-Abuja flights although late,” We write to sincerely apologize for the very long delay you have experienced today owing to a sudden, unscheduled maintenance on our aircraft that was scheduled to operate your flights today.
“We have deployed another aircraft to recover these flights and please know that we will operate all our scheduled Lagos to Abuja return flights today, albeit late. We have written a personalized apology letter to everyone affected by this service disruption, which you will all receive when you board your flights today, containing our offer to help assuage this negative experience.
The personal letter titled:’ Please Accept our Sincere Apologies’ signed by Director, Airline Services, Amaka Echetabu read,” As our show of sincere remorse and earnest efforts to ameliorate, please accept from us at Ibom Air a complimentary one-way ticket to any of our domestic destinations. We have placed on the flip side of this letter, detailed information about your ticket and how to redeem it as you wish to use it”
The airlines continued, “We know that this experience today has caused you a huge inconvenience and we deeply and sincerely regret this. Thank you for choosing Ibom Air and rest assured we are working very hard to return to our normal services for which you have come to rely on us.
