The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Aviance) has expanded its service reach by signing five new **airline ground handling contracts**. These agreements cover both international and domestic carriers and reflect NAHCO’s growing dominance in Nigeria’s aviation service sector.
In a recent statement, NAHCO confirmed it had signed a cargo freighter and warehousing agreement with Royal Air Maroc. The new contract will run until November 2029 and applies to Lagos and Abuja. This comes in addition to Royal Air Maroc’s existing service contract with NAHCO, which spans all other operational areas in Nigeria.
Kenya Airways also renewed its agreement with NAHCO, extending their partnership for another five years. The contract encompasses both passenger and cargo services, allowing for expansion into new operational areas as Kenya Airways grows within the country.
Furthermore, Dornier Aviation entered a three-year partnership with NAHCO for passenger flight handling. The service will span major Nigerian airports including Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Osubi, with provisions for other domestic terminals.
Meanwhile, emerging domestic operator Enugu Air selected NAHCO as its exclusive ground handler for a five-year term. The agreement will cover flight operations across all Nigerian locations, reinforcing NAHCO’s national presence and reputation.
In addition, Cronos Airline renewed its service agreement with NAHCO for another three years. The updated contract will see NAHCO handling Cronos’ passenger operations in both Lagos and Port Harcourt, maintaining high service standards for the airline.
These new airline ground handling contracts demonstrate a growing preference among carriers for NAHCO’s experience and reliability. With over 46 years in ground handling, the company continues to gain the confidence of both new and returning clients.
Earlier this year, NAHCO also secured agreements with Afrijet and Air Sierra Leone, underscoring its leadership in West Africa’s aviation services. Those contracts emphasized NAHCO’s consistent ability to deliver seamless service across different aviation markets.
Group Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, expressed satisfaction with the latest developments. He emphasized that these partnerships are mutually beneficial and position NAHCO as a dependable service provider for aircraft on ground.
“When an aircraft lands, there’s one company airlines trust to handle operations like its own — and that’s NAHCO,” Prince Lasisi said. “Airline operators who want top-tier service always choose us.”
Group Managing Director, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, called the new deals a positive signal for NAHCO’s future. He reassured both stakeholders and airline clients of NAHCO’s ongoing efforts to enhance operations daily.
These developments reaffirm NAHCO’s leading role in Nigeria’s aviation sector. The company’s strategic growth, driven by consistent performance and trust, sets the pace for ground handling excellence.
