Mr. Sukh Mann, Chief Operating Officer of XEJet, emphasizes the importance of collaborative atmospheres between airports and private jet operators. With a fleet of eight aircraft since 2021, XEJet actively monitors market trends for new opportunities. Mann asserts, “We are dynamic and continually monitoring market developments.” This reflects XEJet’s readiness to adapt and seize opportunities in a rapidly evolving aviation landscape.

At the Airports Business Summit Expo, Mann highlighted how private jet travel has become a crucial component of the global transport network due to its convenience, efficiency, and flexibility. This underscores the need for a collaborative atmosphere between airports and private jet operators to address the sector’s growth and challenges effectively.

Mann outlined the essential role of Fixed-Base Operators (FBOs) in private aviation. FBOs offer critical services such as ground handling, passenger services, flight support, refueling, hangar space, and maintenance. These services are vital for enhancing customer experience and ensuring operational efficiency. Additionally, FBOs must adhere to aviation regulations, which is crucial for maintaining smooth operations for private jets.

He further stressed importance of collaborative atmospheres between airports and FBOs as necessary for safety and compliance. This alignment ensures high safety standards and operational security. Mann remarked, “FBOs are not standalone entities; they are regulated and follow all necessary facilitation processes like airports.” Such collaboration is key to maintaining overall safety and efficiency in private aviation.

Regarding airport responsibilities to FBOs, Mann discussed operational coordination, communication, fee structures, and strategic planning. Airports must manage runway and taxiway usage while aligning FBO activities with overall airport traffic. Clear communication channels are essential for addressing issues and ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, airports manage fee structures for FBO services, which contribute to overall revenue.

Mann also noted that collaboration enables both airports and private jet operators to plan for future growth and capacity needs. This partnership ensures long-term success. In cases of disruptions or emergencies, strong cooperation allows for quick, coordinated responses, minimizing impacts on operations.
