
Air Peace Limited last Friday bade farewell to Andy Mekonnon Kassa, its esteemed Head of Aviation Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).
Kassa, who initially served as the Technical Service Engineering Manager, transitioned to lead CAMO during his three-year stint.
His expertise significantly contributed to the airline’s airworthiness record, implementing rigorous safety protocols and enhancing maintenance standards.
Chairman Dr. Allen Onyema praised Kassa’s commitment to safety and quality, highlighting his tremendous contributions to the Maintenance and Planning departments.
“Andy’s commitment to safety and quality has set a new benchmark for our operations. His tremendous contribution to the airline’s Maintenance and Planning departments is one he could brag about anywhere due to the safety culture and technical prowess he has imbibed into young engineers. We are grateful for his leadership and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
In response, Andy expressed gratitude to Dr. Onyema, Nigeria, and the Air Peace family, emphasizing the honor of working with such a dedicated team. “It has been an honour to work with such a dedicated team. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones. I look forward to seeing Air Peace continue to soar to new heights,” he said.
