NIGERIAN Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has released a forecast on a rise in temperature across some states in Nigeria.
According to the forecast, areas that will have temperature greater than 35°C and less than 40°C, and greater than 40°C.
The statement disclosed that parts of Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, FCT, Imo, Plateau, Adamawa, Taraba and Benue are expected to experience temperatures greater than 40°C.
Most parts of the north (except Kano) are expected to experience temperatures greater than 35°C and less than 40°C.
The entire inland of the south and most parts of the coastal states (except Lagos) are expected to be in the same temperature range the Agency disclosed.
