NCAT Appeals to Minister Keyamo for Approval of Drone Training

The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) Zaria has urged Minister Festus Keyamo to greenlight drone training within the institution (NCAT drone training approval). Mrs. Stella Nwankwo, Assistant Chief Planning Officer, emphasized the need for this approval during a visit by Dr. Emmanuel Meribole, the Permanent Secretary, to NCAT’s exhibition stand at the 4th Drone Technology Conference and Exhibition at NIGAV Center, Lagos.

“All necessary arrangements have been finalized for the commencement of drone training,” stated Mrs. Nwankwo confidently. She highlighted that the college has already trained instructors for this purpose, ensuring a smooth transition into offering the course.

Furthermore, Mrs. Nwankwo elaborated on NCAT’s academic offerings, stating, “NCAT operates six schools, including PGD part-time in aviation management in Lagos and Abuja, as well as OND and HND programs in engineering courses in Zaria.”

Dr. Meribole, representing the Minister, echoed Mrs. Nwankwo’s sentiments, urging the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority to promptly address the NCAT drone training approval.
