“Their attempt to kidnap a DGM in the senior staff quarters was foiled by the quick response of the military. As at the time of filing this report the sound of gunshot could be heard from multiple directions.
NigerianFLIGHTDECK was told by a reliable source that the bandits gained access to their quarry through Runway 23 and 05.
Recall armed bandits in the early hours of Saturday March 6, 2021 attacked the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Quarters in Kaduna, abducting about 11 persons who are staff of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) and their families. Nigerianflightdeck reported that the bandits gained access to the quarters through the airport runway at about midnight on Saturday and went straight to the quarters of their victims.
