The Regional General Manager Southwest, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN), Mr Felix Akinbinu has hailed the level of synergy among agencies operating at the airport and has in particular commended the Airport Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service ( NIS) for its diligence.
Mr. Akinbinu made this known at the new MMIA Terminal where he welcomed the acting Comptroller General Nigerian Immigration Service, Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju and other top officials of the service who paid a working visit to the airport command.
The Regional General Manager also commended the Airport Command Comptroller, Mrs. Adeola Adesokan whom he said he had heard good things about and meeting her, has shown she was so much more.
Akinbinu said, ” I want to emphasise that here at the MMIA, the coercion, synergy, collaboration abd team spirit is second to none. Good enough, the lady who is in charge of the NIS Airport Command, from reports available to me and my little observations, is doing quite well and her inclusiveness is remarkable.
Akinbinu and Comptroller Adesokan were also part of the delegation that joined the Ag. CGI to inaugurate a state-of-the-art Visa on Arrival Lounge at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, to provide better services and convenience for investors coming into Nigeria.
The MMIA Command under Adesokan has been at the forefront, championing the seeming never-ending battle against irregular migration as well as human trafficking and has shown commitment to sanitising the service at the country’s gateway.
