In a momentous event that took place recently, Ethiopian Airlines Group officially inaugurated the new Jinka Airport Terminal, showcasing a state-of-the-art facility and support buildings. The grand opening ceremony was held in Jinka, a burgeoning city in the South Ethiopia Regional State.
This significant project, spanning two-and-a-half years, involved the construction of a spacious 3,500 square metre terminal building, support facilities, and external amenities such as an exclusive VIP parking area. The completion of this venture marks a major milestone in enhancing air travel infrastructure in the region.
During the inauguration, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, expressed immense satisfaction at the successful culmination of the Jinka Airport Terminal project. With an investment exceeding 8 million Euros, the Jinka Airport Terminal is now equipped with contemporary passenger amenities, including departure lounges and VIP facilities.
