DANA Air has said that at no time on March 1 and March 2nd was any of its aircraft involved in an air return nor has it any aircraft that can carry a capacity of 168 passengers.
This is coming following a report which the airline describes as false and baseless asking the general public to disregard such claims.
The airline in a statement signed by management said, “Our attention has been drawn to false statement circulating online about a ” Dana Air aircraft with over 168 passengers which had to return due to a faulty sound at the Murtala Mohammed Airport runway”
“To set the records straight, Dana Air operates a mixed fleet of Boeing 737, a brand new bombardier Learjet 145 and Boeing MD83 aircraft with a total capacity of 143, 8 and 147 respectively.
“While we accept the fact we had slight delays on all our flights on 1st and 2nd of March 2022 due to ramp congestion and fuel scarcity, there was no such incident.
“Dana Air will continue to operate in line with global safety standards and our customers and crew will continue to be at the center of everything we do
“The general public is advised to disregard this fake news as it is totally baseless and malicious.
