AviAssist Foundation and Landover Aviation Business School LABS, an approved training organization join forces for aviation safety training in West Africa. Both organizations signed an agreement to conduct three courses at Landover, Lagos.

Director Tom Kok emphasizes the importance of a safer West African sky for reducing operational costs and achieving SAATM goals.

“A better safety record in West and Central Africa is not only good for the safety of travellers in the region but it is also good to help lower the operational costs across Africa with opportunities for lower insurance premiums”, Kok underlines.

“A safer West African sky is crucial if the continent wants to realise the objectives of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM)”. He added.

AviAssist will conduct human factors and team leadership courses in May 2024, benefiting Nigerian and regional professionals.

Sponsors like the Netherlands Ministry of Infrastructure, KLM, Airbus, and Boeing will ensure affordable training costs.

Capt. Edward Boyo, Managing Director of Landover, expresses enthusiasm for this collaboration, aligning with Landover’s safety commitment.

” We are very pleased to collaborate with AviAssist, the leading reference organization on African aviation safety promotion. It fits well with Landover’s commitment to boosting aviation safety in Nigeria and in the region”. Captain Boyo said.
