The 4th Aviacargo Conference, West Africa’s premier cargo event, has been rescheduled. Initially planned for August 1st, the conference will now hold on August 22nd at the Marriott Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos. This decision prioritizes the safety of attendees amid current challenges.

The conference is crucial for Nigeria’s cargo sector growth. It aims to boost efficiency and export reach, especially in agro-export. Industry leaders and government agencies will share insights.

The event will feature top industry players. Christophe Pennick of Asaba Airport will discuss the private sector’s role in airport development. George Uriesi of Ibom Air will explore airport-airline synergy for cargo development. Remi Jibodu of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited will share his aviation expertise. Dr. Daniel Mckorley of McDan Group will offer industry insights. Frank Ogunojemite of APFFLON will address export challenges at Nigerian airports.

Moreover, other aviation, insurance, logistics, and agro-export CEOs will contribute valuable perspectives. Key government agencies like NAFDAC, NEPC, SON, Nigeria Customs, and Quarantine Services will also participate.
