Dr Musa is an academic, political scientist, researcher, author and public administrator whose career spans several professional fields. His experience includes teaching, educational administration, legislative service, local-government administration, institutional management, public affairs and consumer protection.

The traditional honour therefore highlights his contributions beyond his professional responsibilities at NAMA. It also underscores the importance of community service, educational support and youth development in strengthening local communities.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Aviation, Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba, has congratulated Dr Musa on the conferment.

Garba described the honour as “a fitting recognition of his integrity, humility and commitment to the progress of Kontagora Emirate.”

The lawmaker added that he had personally witnessed Dr Musa’s dedication to the emirate, describing him as a worthy ambassador of his people.

He also expressed confidence in Dr Musa’s ability to uphold the responsibilities associated with the title. Garba prayed for divine guidance as the NAMA director assumes the traditional responsibilities accompanying the honour.

Responding to the conferment, Dr Musa expressed appreciation to the Emir for considering him worthy of the traditional title.

He described the recognition as both a privilege and a call to greater responsibility. He also reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives that expand educational opportunities, empower young people and improve residents’ wellbeing.

Dr Musa noted that the honour had strengthened his resolve to contribute further to the prosperity of his people.

The conferment adds to the recognition of his community-focused contributions, particularly in education, philanthropy and youth empowerment. It also places renewed emphasis on the role of public administrators in supporting development beyond their official duties.

For the Kontagora Emirate, the title recognises Dr Musa’s service while encouraging continued commitment to initiatives that promote social progress and improve opportunities for residents.
