Air Peace has announced a major enhancement of domestic connectivity across Nigeria through increased flight frequencies and additional seat capacity on several key routes. The expanded schedule, which takes effect on June 22, 2026, is designed to meet growing passenger demand during the busy summer travel season while offering greater flexibility and convenience.

The development reinforces the airline’s commitment to improving access between major cities and regional destinations. By increasing the number of available flights, Air Peace aims to provide passengers with more travel choices and better connections throughout its domestic network.

Domestic Connectivity Strengthened Through Expanded Flight Schedule

The latest expansion significantly boosts domestic connectivity by increasing services on some of Nigeria’s busiest air routes. Under the revised schedule, travellers on the Lagos-Abuja route will benefit from up to seven daily flights, creating more options for both business and leisure journeys. Meanwhile, passengers flying between Lagos and Owerri will have access to as many as four daily services.

Air Peace is also increasing frequencies between Lagos and Asaba, with up to three daily flights planned under the new schedule. In addition, the airline will operate up to two daily flights on the Lagos-Benin, Lagos-Warri, and Lagos-Enugu routes. Services between Abuja and Owerri, as well as Abuja and Asaba, will equally rise to as many as two daily flights, further improving access between key commercial and regional centres.

The expanded schedule will be supported by Air Peace’s fleet of modern next-generation aircraft. This will allow the airline to provide more seats while maintaining high standards of comfort, reliability, and operational efficiency. As passenger demand continues to rise, the carrier believes the additional capacity will help accommodate travellers more effectively.

Commenting on the development, Air Peace Management stated:

“As travel demand continues to rise during the summer season, we are strategically increasing capacity and frequencies on key domestic routes to better serve our customers. These additional flights will provide greater flexibility, improved travel options, and more convenient schedules for both business and leisure travellers at very affordable fares.”

The airline further explained that its focus remains on creating stronger links between people, businesses, and communities across Nigeria.

“Our objective remains to connect people, businesses, and communities while delivering a superior travel experience.”

According to the airline, the increased frequencies will enhance domestic connectivity by strengthening links between major commercial hubs and regional destinations. Therefore, the expansion is expected to support trade, tourism, investment, and economic development while also contributing to national integration.

Meanwhile, the schedule enhancement forms part of Air Peace’s broader strategy to improve network accessibility and operational reliability. The airline continues to invest in route development and customer-focused services to ensure passengers enjoy a wider range of travel options across its growing network.

The carrier noted that improved domestic connectivity remains central to its mission of making air travel more accessible and affordable. By expanding services on high-demand routes, the airline hopes to reduce travel constraints and offer passengers greater flexibility when planning their journeys.

Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of the increased seat availability by booking through the Air Peace website, mobile application, contact centre, and accredited travel agencies nationwide. The airline believes early bookings will allow travellers to secure preferred schedules as demand increases during the summer season.

As Nigeria’s flag-bearing private carrier, Air Peace continues to play a leading role in advancing domestic connectivity through strategic route expansion and capacity growth. With more flights now available across key destinations, travellers can expect improved convenience, greater flexibility, and enhanced access to opportunities across the country.
