A fire today brokeout at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos which has led to a power outage, also disrupting activities.
The fire caused the power outage at the E-Arrival area, as eye- witnesses said thick smoke emanated from the affected area, prompting workers and passengers to evacuate to the larger departure hall.

In September last year another fire outbreak happened at the basement of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal building which facilitated the relocation of counters to the newly built Chinese terminal.
