
United Bank for Africa (UBA), through its corporate social responsibility arm, UBA Foundation, has donated N500 million to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF). The donation to Lagos State underscores UBA’s commitment to fostering a secure environment for individuals and businesses. The cheque presentation took place at the State House, Marina, Lagos, where UBA Group Chairman, Tony Elumelu, handed over the donation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Accompanied by the bank’s Deputy Managing Director, Muyiwa Akinyemi, Elumelu emphasized UBA’s dedication to security as a catalyst for economic growth. “At UBA, we recognize that security is vital for societal well-being. Our donation to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund reflects our commitment to creating safer communities for sustainable development,” Elumelu remarked.
