Keyamo says Nigeria will support ICAO’s Civil Aviation Master Plan, CO² emissions reduction

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo SAN says Nigeria will support ICAO’s the Civil Aviation Master Plan for the country.

Keyamo made this known during his familiarization visit to the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Montreal 28th September 2023.

Keyamo equally pledged support for the works of ICAO in Carbon emissions reduction in international Aviation.

Recall, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority signed the Civil Aviation Masterplan (CAMP) with ICAO in August 2023.

The Masterplan when implemented will further unlock opportunities in the Nigerian aviation industry.

It will also aid the industry to attain its full potential and make significant contributions to the nation’s economic growth and development.

He also pledged the country’s support to other global programs beneficial to uplifting civil aviation especially in Nigeria.
