A Flair Aviation aircraft has been impounded and its crew being subject to interrogation by security agencies in Nigeria following flouting of the approval given to them by Nigerian authorities.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika who revealed this via his twitter handle @hadisirika said the airline was granted approval for humanitarian operations only to be caught conducting commercial flights within the country.
His tweet read,â€COVID-19. Flair Aviation, a UK company, was given approval for humanitarian operations but regrettably we caught them conducting commercial flights. This is callous! The craft is impounded, crew being interrogated. There shall be maximum penalty. Wrong time to try our resolve!â€
