The past week delivered major aviation industry event highlights, marked by innovations, strategic visits and global recognition across Nigeria’s aviation sector.
Drone technology took centre stage at Dronetex, where stakeholders explored advanced applications reshaping aviation operations and airspace management. Meanwhile, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) played host to high-level diplomatic and institutional engagements. The Tanzanian High Commissioner visited to deepen bilateral cooperation, while the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) paid a courtesy call to discuss regulatory alignment and training development.
Elsewhere in Lagos, PartnerPlus Connect 13.0 brought together airline representatives, travel professionals, and consolidators under one roof. It fostered solutions-focused dialogue around improving ticket sales systems, digital transformation and airline-agency relationships.
Crowning the week’s achievements, Landover Aviation Business School received the IATA Best Performer award. This milestone reaffirmed the school’s leadership in aviation education and its consistent delivery of top-tier results among IATA-accredited institutions.
