ASKY Airlines has commended the Government of Nigeria for newly inaugurated international terminal at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport expressing its commitment to the route by being the first to land at the brand new ultra-modern terminal.
NAIA was officially opened to traffic on Sunday, January 6, 2019 and ASKY Airlines had the privilege of landing at the terminal with its Boeing B737-700, flight number KP 032, registered ET-AVP, from Lomé Airport, landed at 1530 with 91 persons on board, including 85 passengers and 6 crew members.
The crew and passengers were warmly welcomed in the modern setting of this new terminal and congratulated the local airport authorities on the quality of its infrastructure.
The Pan-African company ASKY, for its part, commended the efforts of the Nigerian government and in particular those of His Excellency the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, for his commitment to making Nigeria a leading regional civil aviation headquarters.
ASKY reiterates its commitment to work with local authorities to ensure the successful implementation of these new opportunities, which will certainly improve the movement of goods and people in a region with undeniable growth potential.
