ETHIOPIAN Airlines Group CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam has announced with deep regrets that the fatal accident involved on ET 302 on a scheduled flight from Addis Ababa to Nairobi went down without any survivors.

The group CEO who is currently at the accident scene right now regrets to confirm that there are no survivors.

Recall that at about 08:38 am local time flight ET 302 which took off time from Addis Ababa, Bole International Airport and lost contact at 08:44am it was announced later that the four-month old Ethiopian Airlines B-737-800MAX with registration number ET- AVJ conveying 149 passengers and 8 crew from Addis Ababa to Nairobi has crashed around Bishoftu (Debre Zeit).

Search and rescue operations are in progress and there is no confirmed information about survivors or any possible casualties as at this time.
