She underscored the importance of addressing revenue leakages and protecting FAAN staff from intimidation by VIPs and military personnel.

Furthermore, Mrs. Kuku announced they will immediately implement the E-tag system at Lagos and Abuja airports, without exemptions for VIPs nationwide.

Despite potential traffic congestion during the initial phase, officials are working to mitigate issues, especially at Lagos and Abuja airports. Mrs. Kuku affirmed, “All government organizations, the military, and VIPs are fully in support of Mr. President on this directive.”

She hailed President Bola Tinubu and the Minister for their proactive approach in leveraging technology to enhance revenue, prevent leakages, and curb VIP privileges abuse. She stressed that the airport gate fees awareness would benefit the public.
