The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has issued a three-day severe weather warning. Heavy rainfall and strong winds will affect different regions from Friday. Southern states should prepare for potential flooding incidents, the High Impact-Based Forecast Bulletin states  

On Friday April 11, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected. Affected states include Ogun, Oyo and Osun. Lagos, Ondo and Ekiti will also experience downpours. Edo, Delta and Imo complete the high-risk zone.  

Low to moderate rainfall will cover other areas. These include Niger, Kwara and the FCT. Plateau, Adamawa and Kaduna face lighter showers. Nasarawa, Kogi and Benue should also expect rain.
