The UBA Business Series will mark Women’s Month with a special edition focused on empowering modern African women.
Organised by United Bank for Africa (UBA), the session holds on Wednesday, March 12, 2026, by 11AM at UBA House in Lagos. The programme will spotlight women who are shaping industries, building businesses and redefining leadership across Africa. In addition, the event will gather professionals and entrepreneurs eager to learn practical strategies for growth and leadership.
The UBA Business Series session carries the theme “Gen W-The Evolved Woman.” It will highlight how women are transforming professional spaces with confidence, innovation and ambition. Meanwhile, the event will also be streamed live on UBA’s digital platforms, allowing participants across Africa and beyond to join the conversation.
Participants interested in attending can register either physically or virtually through the official UBA registration portal. According to organisers, the hybrid format will enable a wider audience to benefit from the discussions and insights shared by leading women professionals.
Inspiring Voices at the UBA Business Series
This edition of the UBA Business Series will feature accomplished speakers from entrepreneurship, media and business leadership. Their experiences will provide valuable lessons for aspiring leaders and professionals navigating complex industries.
Among the speakers is entrepreneur and ORÍKÌ Group founder Joycee Awosika. She will share insights on building purpose-driven enterprises in Africa’s evolving market. Also speaking is media personality and entrepreneur, Tomike Adeoye, who has built a strong personal brand in media and business.

The conversation will be moderated by media personality and actor Tobi Bakre. His role as host will guide the discussion toward practical lessons and engaging exchanges between speakers and participants.
