This move may not be unconnected to the image portrayed by Very Important Personnel (VIPs) whose aides come to the avio bridges of the aircraft to receive their principals, and most times in the process militarizing the environment and causing melee, in their zeal to serve. This challenge is mostly experienced because many overzealous security personnel who come to receive or see off their superiors, tend to turn protocol officers and cause pandemonium at the airports.
