Their journey commenced from the nation’s capital on a Friday morning.
Upon landing at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, the couple received a warm welcome from a delegation comprising military personnel and government dignitaries. A vibrant cultural showcase awaited them, courtesy of a local dance ensemble, enhancing the reception’s ambiance around 09:00hrs.
Expressing their enthusiasm for their visit, Prince Harry remarked, “We’re delighted to explore the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria.” Meghan added, “It’s a privilege to engage with the vibrant Nigerian community.”
In Lagos, the Sussexes fulfilled various commitments as part of their tour before heading back to Abuja. Continuing their journey with Air Peace, the Sussexes appreciated the carrier’s services during their travels.
