Qatar Airways, the World’s Best Airline, is enhancing global connectivity with more flights to key destinations worldwide. The expanded services will offer passengers greater flexibility and seamless connections across the airline’s network of over 170 destinations.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, emphasized the airline’s commitment to global connectivity with more flights, ensuring an elevated travel experience through Hamad International Airport, awarded World’s Best Airport by Skytrax in 2024.
The airline is boosting flight frequencies to major cities and popular tourist spots. For instance, flights to London Heathrow will increase from 49 weekly to 56, while services to Madrid will rise from 14 weekly to 17. Other key routes like Amsterdam, Entebbe, and Tokyo Narita will also see increased flights, enhancing accessibility for passengers.
In Africa, Qatar Airways will double its weekly flights to Damascus from three to 14 and increase Maputo-Durban services from five to seven. The airline’s focus on African destinations reflects its strategy to strengthen ties with emerging markets and boost tourism and trade across the continent.
With more flights to Sharjah and Larnaca, as well as the Dar Es Salaam-Kilimanjaro route, Qatar Airways is catering to both leisure and business travelers. The additional frequencies will not only enhance convenience but also provide better connections for passengers traveling between continents.
