Overland Airways Resumes Abuja-Jalingo Flights


“We are thrilled to reconnects Abuja-Jalingo route, boosting travel and commerce in Taraba State,” he said.


Overland Airways, Nigeria’s longest-serving private domestic airline, reconnects Abuja-Jalingo route to provide options for passengers. The airline also introduced Lagos-Jalingo flights via Abuja. Passengers can now enjoy seamless connections across its network. 

The airline’s reconnects Abuja-Jalingo route initiative follows a temporary suspension due to airport expansion. Overland Airways will operate three weekly flights starting April 3, 2025. Flights will depart Abuja at 10:00 AM and return from Jalingo at 11:30 AM.  

Capt. Edward Boyo, Chief Executive Officer of Overland Airways, expressed enthusiasm. “We are thrilled to reconnects Abuja-Jalingo route, boosting travel and commerce in Taraba State,” he said. He thanked Gov. Dr. Agbu Kefas for supporting Danbaba Suntai Airport’s development.  

Passengers will experience premium comfort on the new Embraer 175 aircraft. The jet features dual-class seating with extra legroom. Overland Airways remains committed to safety, renewing its IOSA certification for the fifth time.  

Transitioning to modern jets marks a milestone for the airline. The *reconnects Abuja-Jalingo route* service reaffirms its dedication to convenience. Travelers from Lagos, Ibadan, and other cities can now connect easily.
