In a record-breaking two-week turnaround, Onedot Aviation completed another 2-year check on XeJet’s CRJ 200 aircraft Registration 5N-XEJ.
This achievement highlights Onedot’s efficiency and expertise in aircraft maintenance, solidifying its position as a leading MRO provider in Nigeria.
This rapid completion follows the company’s successful completion of a 2-year check on a CRJ 200 for XeJet just a few weeks prior.
The project, which included detailed inspections and system checks, showcases Onedot Aviation’s technical capabilities and commitment to supporting local operators.
The aircraft has since received its Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) and is ready to return to commercial service.

A 2-year check (sometimes called a 24-month check) for a Bombardier CRJ-200 is a scheduled heavy maintenance event that falls under the aircraft’s approved maintenance program.
It goes beyond daily, weekly, or line checks and is part of the calendar-based inspection cycle designed to ensure continued airworthiness, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
CEO of Onedot Aviation, Captain Dotun Henry Ogunyemi, commented: “Completing another 2-year check on the CRJ 200 for XeJet in such a short period is a testament to our team’s dedication and the robust processes we have in place.”
“Our goal is to provide Nigerian operators with world-class maintenance services that save them time and money while keeping their aircraft flying safely. The trust XeJet has placed in us by bringing us another aircraft is a strong vote of confidence in our homegrown capacity.”
This milestone further reinforces Onedot Aviation’s long-term vision to become a maintenance powerhouse in West Africa, reducing the industry’s reliance on foreign MROs.
With expanded NCAA approvals for Bombardier Challenger and CRJ series aircraft, Onedot is actively filling a critical gap in Nigeria’s aviation ecosystem and contributing to the sector’s growth.
