In partnership with global tech leader Chyron, the Nigeria Meteorological Agency (NiMet) is upgrading its weather presentation infrastructure to 4K resolution.
The upgrade will significantly enhance NiMet’s weather presentation capabilities. This project marks a critical milestone in delivering world-class meteorological services. NiMet will integrate Chyron’s advanced solutions, featuring enhanced processing power and high-definition displays. Consequently, the move to 4K resolution will provide clearer and more accurate weather data to Nigerians.
Furthermore, the upgrade aligns with NiMet’s strategic vision under Prof. Charles Anosike’s leadership to modernize the agency’s operations. The current management is committed to meeting international standards by using cutting-edge technology.
