Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has ensured union inclusion and transparency in the airport concession process. He directed the immediate inclusion of union representatives in the concession committee. 

This decision followed concerns raised by aviation unions during a Workers’ Congress on 25th February 2025. Key issues included exclusion from concession talks and delayed salary adjustments.

The intervention responded to a publication, “Aviation Unions Issue 14-day Ultimatum over Concessions, Salary Review.” FAAN management, in a statement signed by Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mrs. Obiageli Orah, clarified the issues.  

Mrs. Orah reiterated FAAN’s commitment to dialogue and world-class airport services. The Minister’s actions highlight the government’s focus on workers’ welfare and transparent processes.
