This decision followed concerns raised by aviation unions during a Workers’ Congress on 25th February 2025. Key issues included exclusion from concession talks and delayed salary adjustments.

The intervention responded to a publication, “Aviation Unions Issue 14-day Ultimatum over Concessions, Salary Review.” FAAN management, in a statement signed by Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mrs. Obiageli Orah, clarified the issues.
