Ibom Air has partnered with Ibom Golf and Country Club as the title sponsor of the Captain’s Day Golf Tournament. The event, scheduled for March 29, 2025, will take place at the prestigious Ibom Golf and Country Club in Uyo.  

This collaboration aligns with Ibom Air’s strategy to boost tourism by supporting Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE). The tournament will be held on one of West Africa’s most challenging 18-hole courses, attracting amateur golfers with handicaps ranging from 0 to 36.  

Additionally, the event will kick off with an Ibibio-themed cocktail reception on March 28, offering a platform for networking among players, business leaders, and guests. The Captain’s Day Golf Tournament aims to promote Akwa Ibom as a hub for sports and tourism.
