Ibom Air Increase Frequencies to Enugu, Calabar

Ibom Air has increased Enugu and Calabar frequencies to offer travelers better access and improved scheduling starting July 25, 2025. The expansion will see daily flights from Lagos and Abuja to Calabar.

This move significantly enhances what was previously a limited flight schedule. Passengers can now enjoy greater flexibility when planning trips, especially between Southern and Eastern Nigeria. With added flights, Ibom Air is delivering more travel options while maintaining its high standard of punctuality and safety.

Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. George Uriesi, explained the airline’s motivation behind the new schedule. He noted that the increase in frequency was customer-driven and reflects Ibom Air’s commitment to traveler satisfaction.

“At Ibom Air, we understand the value of consistency and convenience in travel,” said Mr. Uriesi. “Expanding our flight frequency on these routes is a direct response to our customers’ needs for more choices without compromising on the schedule reliability, on-time departures, and excellent service we are known for.”

This adjustment in operations aims to bridge key regional gaps. Calabar, the capital of Cross River State, and Enugu, the regional hub for South-East Nigeria, both hold economic and social importance. Therefore, improved air connectivity will foster easier access for business travelers, tourists, and residents alike.

Furthermore, Ibom Air continues to distinguish itself as a customer-focused carrier. The additional services fall in line with its broader strategy of expanding route options organically across Nigeria, while reinforcing efficiency and timeliness.
