Concert for Change, organisers of Green Worship, has disbursed ₦160 million to support special needs children and charity organisations across Nigeria.
The initiative, known for merging worship with compassion, announced that it will raise ₦100 million annually to expand its beneficiaries from four to 10.
This move underscores its strong commitment to impacting society positively. Through Green Worship, the group continues to uplift vulnerable children and create sustainable opportunities for charities serving orphans and children with disabilities.
Meanwhile, Green Worship 8.0 is scheduled to hold next week at MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos. The concert will feature top gospel artistes such as Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Gaise Baba, Anendlessocean, Preye Odede, Rotimi Keys, Kent Egunjobi, Moyosola Olowokure, Gospel Force, Ellie Scotte, Outgun Onkar, and Convener Wale Adenuga.

Speaking in Lagos, Convener Wale Adenuga said the disbursement reflects faith in action and shows how worship can translate into tangible change.
“This is a testament to what God does through people with willing hearts,” Adenuga stated. “It proves the miracle of five loaves and two fishes is still alive today.”
The proceeds benefited five organisations: Comrade David Ofoeyeno School for Special Children (Warri), Marvelous Foundation Orphans Care Centre (Minna), Super Parents Foundation (Lagos), Hope Orphanage (Akure), and Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria (Uyo).
Adenuga further explained that Green Worship aims to transform compassion into collective action. “We know the times are challenging and needs are growing,” he said. “Yet amid these challenges, charities continue to feed, teach, and care for orphans and children with special needs. The least we can do is lighten their burden.”
He added that Green Worship stands as a movement where worship meets purpose and where songs turn into support for those who need it most.
“So, through Concert for Change, we remind ourselves that compassion is powerful, generosity transforms lives, and together we can bring hope to others,” Adenuga concluded.
The Green Worship initiative has become a beacon of faith-driven philanthropy, inspiring Nigerians to connect music, worship, and social impact. Its growing influence reflects the strength of community spirit and the transformative power of shared giving.
