FAAN dispels fabricated videoclip on MMIA

FABRICATED video clips aimed at creating panic and undermining seamless operations at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos yesterday, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 have been debunked by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

In a statement released by the Corporate communication Department and signed by Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, FAAN informed air travellers, airport users and the general public that there was seamless operations at the MMIA yesterday.

The Authority dispelled the trending malicious video clip stating that it was aimed at creating panic and tarnish the reputation of the airports by mischief makers.

The statement in conclusion read,”The Authority would like to use this medium to inform they general public that the should always refer to the Authority’s website (www.faan.gov.ng) or social media platforms, Facebook Page (FAAN OFFICIAL) or Twitter Handle (@FAAN_OFFICIAL) where authentic news and updates are readily accessible. ”
