AZMAN Air, one of Nigeria’s domestic carriers has announced that it will no longer resume as announced when it suspended operations upgrading its resumption of operations to indefinite.
Azman Air suspended flights on the midnight of the 27th March, 2020 for a period of two weeks to commence operations to 11th April, 2020 however; this may have changed as the airline has announced that its suspension is now indefinite.
A letter signed by management tagged Suspension of Flight Operations indefinitely read thus,“ Due to the ongoing pandemic situation in the country, the management of Azman Air is hereby directed to inform our esteemed customers and the general public that our resumption date has been extended indefinitely.
“This painful decision is imminent as we await the ratification of the Federal Government and the aviation regulatory authorities on their concerted efforts to sanitize all the airports for safe operations.
“We hereby implore all affected passengers to take this as a formal notice as all tickets will still be valid and can be rescheduled and rerouted to any of our destinations without extra charges immediately we commence operations.
The airline regretted inconveniences praying for a quick recovery for the nation from the dreaded virus.
