Having satisfied the requirements in accordance with Safety Standards; and meeting all conditions, Azman Air’s Airline Operators Certificate (AOC) has been renewed.
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA renewed the AOC 29th Feb. 2024 with a validity of six month from the first instance to be extended to its earlier period of five years after the authority make their assessment.
A source in the Civil Aviation Authority explained that the process took time because it was a recertification exercise and all phases has to be recertified. This was corroborated by one of the airline staff.
“ The NCAA had to recertify all phases in accordance to standard and recommended practices.”
According to him, the planned schedule will be release soon as the flying community should expect a new and improved Azman Air.
