Air Peace celebrates children through two powerful events marking the 2025 Children’s Day. West Africa’s largest airline proudly participated in both the Parkland Amusement Center Children’s Fiesta and Raising Star’s This Ability 4.0. These dual engagements showcased the airline’s consistent dedication to inclusivity, joy, and corporate social responsibility.

Held at the Parkland Amusement Park in Lagos, the Children’s Fiesta welcomed pupils from underprivileged schools. The venue buzzed with excitement as children engaged in games, fun activities, and refreshments. The atmosphere was one of unity and delight, reflecting a deeper purpose: ensuring no child is left behind in celebrations of national significance.

Air Peace sponsored 40 children, offering them a unique and memorable experience. Alongside other major sponsors like Mavin Records, Chocolate City, Ryno Auto, and others, the airline distinguished itself by its message of valuing every child’s dream and voice.

At the same time, Raising Star’s This Ability 4.0 unfolded at The Darlington Hall, Ilupeju. This annual advocacy event focused on children living with disabilities. The 2025 edition adopted the theme “Empowering Every Voice,” which encapsulated the spirit of recognition, inclusion, and encouragement.

Activities at the This Ability 4.0 event included an inclusive dance competition, fashion and music performances, and an art exhibition highlighting the talents of children with disabilities. Additionally, seminars targeted parents, teachers, and advocates while financial grants were distributed to youth-led SMEs and young adults with disabilities.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, graced the event, as did actress Juliana Olayode. Corporate support came from organizations like the Aliko Dangote Foundation, BIC Nigeria, MILO, IHS, Supreme Foods, and NNPC. These brands, alongside Air Peace, made a firm statement about commitment to community development.

Air Peace’s role was both symbolic and practical. The airline awarded a cash prize to the top performer in the talent competition, affirming its belief in recognizing brilliance and capability in all children. A company representative also delivered a goodwill message that emphasized inclusion and the value of each young life.

Speaking at both events, Head of Marketing for Air Peace, Mr. Ikenna Nnabuife, reiterated the airline’s strong commitment to child-focused engagement. “We believe every child, regardless of background or ability, carries boundless potential. Air Peace celebrates children by creating spaces where dreams are nurtured,” he stated.

Although physically absent, Chairman of Air Peace Limited, Dr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, issued a heartfelt message. He said, “Children form the heartbeat of a nation’s future. Supporting mainstream and inclusive celebrations is our pledge to build a society where no child feels unseen. We are not just an airline—we are a symbol of hope.”

By participating in both events, Air Peace demonstrated that inclusion goes beyond corporate language—it is a lived commitment. The airline’s actions reinforced values of equity, joy, and national development.

Indeed, Air Peace celebrates children not just on special occasions but throughout its social responsibility initiatives. Through advocacy, sponsorships, and direct participation, the airline continues to lift communities—one child, one voice, one hope at a time.
